The Drupal Media Initiative, with the Media and File Entity modules as base, is quickly gathering momentum to become the main file and media management solution for Drupal 7. A Media sprint would be a fantastic opportunity to not only work in the modules, but also network with many other developers and project maintainers around common interests.
Sprint days: June 15th-16th.
Users of all experience levels are welcome to participate as there will be opportunities to work on everything from the code itself, to documentation as well as UX and usability.
Main focus will be around the needs for http://drupal.org/community-initiatives/drupal-core/file-management
